Leadership & Mentorship
Leadership at Impact Technologies is shaped not only by decades of healthcare IT experience, but also by a long background in coaching, training, and high-performance environments.
Andy Rush served as a head cross country and track coach for over 15 years, building competitive programs from the ground up and developing athletes who have gone on to compete at the state, national, and collegiate level, including NCAA and NAIA programs. Athletes under his guidance have qualified for Junior Olympic competition and achieved top placements at the state level.
As a Senior Staff Coach at the Nike® Smoky Mountain Running Camp, he has worked alongside some of the top coaches in the country, leading training groups, delivering instructional sessions, and mentoring athletes from across the United States.
In addition to coaching, Andy has over 25 years of experience in martial arts as both a competitor and instructor. As a competitor, he earned multiple national championships and was ranked among the top athletes in the country in full-contact fighting and Shua Chaio – Chinese wrestling.
